Kevin Bate (pictured), former senior director of business development, has been promoted to Simpleview’s vice-president of global sales.

Simpleview is an Arizona, US-based provider of CRM, CMS, website design, digital marketing, and mobile technologies for destination marketing organisations (DMOs) and employs 350 staff worldwide.

During his 15-year tenure at Simpleview, Bate has worked as part of the New Business team and on building an international sales team. In this new position, he will focus on further expanding the organisation’s global footprint in Europe, the UK, Asia Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean.

“Kevin’s knowledge of the industry, our organisation, and his global connections made him the natural choice for this position,” said Greg Evans, vice-president of sales and account services. “We’re looking forward to seeing what he brings to the table as he focuses his efforts on global growth and working with our sales teams in each region.”

Bate will lead the regional directors of business development, including Paul Franke Jr. (US/Canada), Rebeca Berriochoa (LATAM/Caribbean), Caroline Dawson (UK/Northern Europe), and Christian Ortlepp (EMEA).

“The pandemic will likely accelerate the evolution of destination organisations, so we will need to make sure Simpleview evolves as well, to ensure we continue to provide valuable solutions to the problems facing the destination organisations of the future,” said Bate.
