Mumbrella has announced two new hires and a promotion that come into play with immediate effect.
Brittney Rigby, formerly Mumbrella’s senior reporter, has been promoted to the position of deputy managing editor – news & analysis.
She will play a key part in supporting the managing editor – news & analysis, a role which is currently being advertised.

Rigby has been with Mumbrella since March 2019, joining as a reporter before being promoted to senior reporter earlier this year. She has overseen the media agency beat for a year and a half, and will soon take responsibility of the media owners beat.
In addition to her expertise as a journalist, Rigby is admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of NSW. Prior to her time at Mumbrella, she led content strategy for law firm LegalVision, and wrote for publications including The Guardian, Sydney Morning Herald, Crikey, and SBS.
Mumbrella also welcomes Zanda Wilson into the role of reporter. Wilson will take on daily news coverage duties across a range of industry beats, working alongside reporter Zoe Wilkinson.
Wilson joins from Radio Today and The Music Network where he was assistant editor.
Amanda Atkinson has also joined the Mumbrella sales team as partnerships manager.
She will work with Mumbrella sales director Victoria Seymour in the role. Atkinson was previously national advertising manager for Jetstar Media at Medium Rare Content Agency and has also worked at Are Media, NewsLifeMedia and Pacific Magazines.
Senior event manager Lilly Barker will also be stepping up, filling the shoes of Mumbrella’s head of events, Carly Pollifrone, who is on maternity leave. Barker has run some of Mumbrella’s biggest events across Australia and Singapore in her time with the company.
