The Danville Fire Department continues to investigate to cause of a Sunday morning fire at Rucker’s Auto Body Shop at 7 East 2nd Street in Danville. The alarm was received at 1:06 AM, and all units had returned by 6 AM. No one was at the business at the time, and there were no firefighter injuries.
Firefighters observed heavy fire coming from the structure upon arrival. Damage estimates are $50,000 to the building at $7,500 to contents.
