The roof caved in at a branch of Vancouver’s Four Season Auto and Tire Service Center on Friday, resulting in no injuries.

According to Joe Spatz, public information officer at the Vancouver Fire Department, the department dispatched an engine to the east Vancouver scene just before 5 p.m.

“About 90 percent of the 80-by-50-foot roof had collapsed in on the business,” Spatz said. “Nobody was occupying it or inside, and there were no injuries.”

The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office assisted with clearing the scene and checking the integrity of the building, located at 11415 N.E. 76th St.

They left the site around 6:30 p.m.

In a post to its Facebook page, the business said that the impacted branch would remain closed for the foreseeable future. A second branch of the auto repair shop, located at 16215 N.E. 15th St., remains operational.

“We are working extremely hard on recovering what we can and reopening our doors to you all while keeping all of our safety as our main concern,” the company stated online. “We are going to be working with our landlord, the city of Vancouver and will be providing updates on our status.”
